Born 1961, Losheim, Saar (today Losheim am See),  lives and works in Berlin.

Müller has developed a photographic practise since 1979. 1998 he founded Artificial Image, a global pioneer in digital printmaking exclusively focussing on artists works in Berlin. 2019 he initiated  Sana Sanaa, an artist  exchange program between Nairobi and Berlin in collaboration with Rafael von Uslar with the support of Goethe Institute, Nairobi.

30.04.2020 – 30.04.2021 Parisfal, 11m2 and MyBerlinWall will host a retrospective of Michael Maria Müllers photographic works and films.
